_{About time I actually drew some proper fanart for this character and series! I certainly borrow this character enough you'd think I'd have a lot more stockpiled. But most of its quick little doodles that fall under the title of "Therapy Sessions with Mason"... And yes you should be concerned about that if you know anything about this character.

So this is my friend SpiderRen's character Dr. Mason Gordon, the psychotic god complex geneticist with Billy on the right and Wyatt on the left in the background. These guys are from her up coming animated series 'Aptitude'. And yes this is a rare occasion, its fanart from me. In all serious though guys I cannot recommend this series enough when it comes out and in the mean time just enjoying the animation and artwork she does of it because its fantastic. Though it is for more mature audiences because there is swearing, gore, and a lot of mature themes/debates so I will warn that but I am still unbelievably excited for it! I've legitimately been with it for a really long time now and the way its developed and grown is insane and I adore it. I am not a Si-Fi heavy person and it takes a decent amount of work to get me to connect to characters but I kid you not I have legitimately cried over these characters. I never do that! I legitimately cannot praise the ideals and characters in this series enough so anyone who enjoys really unique and interesting characters, go check it out on Ren's Youtube and her DA.

Anyway if you can't tell, Mason is my favorite character in Aptitude. (My favorite main is Brutus. But Mason ranks top for the entire cast.) I made a joke video with him before called "Mason (Ren) started a fire" sometime ago back when I was starting to really enjoy the character. I think it was made shortly after woman had me crying over them for the first time. This started out as a "Therapy Session" sketch and was borrowing him because I was a little stressed. And the irony in all this is, I have no idea why I like this character and it frustrates the living heck out of me! When Ren first showed me this character the first words out of my mouth were "I don't like him". I despised him! I hate personalities and character types like him with a fiery passion! He's even an ENTP which I seem to just instinctively dislike outside of Ren and he's nothing like her! I have no idea how or why of all characters he ended up being my favorite! Even Ren has admitted out of all the characters she thought I would and have attach to, Mason was not one. Legitimately no one can figure out why I like him so much, including me! The only thing I've ever been able to possibly chalk it up to is that there's some really heavy themes with Mason's story-line which I do have a tendency to sway towards dark themes with certain characters. Aptitude as a series is what I call a "Wheres the limit" series. It makes you think. As much as I know about it I still keep thinking, theorizing, and questioning because anyone can have an entirely different interpretation on this series which I love and is probably the reason I can never praise this particular series enough. Again if you like really interesting stories and characters I highly suggest Aptitude.
